Uwe has been Psychological Psychotherapist in private practice since 1994, licenced in the german healthcare system since 1999. He was introduced to Zen with Michael von Brück. He trained in humanistic and potential-orientated psychotherapy at ZIST (Wolf Büntig, et al.) and in the Feldenkrais method (Russell Delman, Jerry Karzen, et al.). Further training in Gestalt therapy (W. Arnet) and systemic constellation work (E. Madelung, et al.). He first met with Akong Rinpoche in 1994 and together with his wife Margit has been in the Tara Rokpa process since 2000. He became a Tara Rokpa therapist in 2017. He has attended meditation courses and retreats with Drupon Rinpoche and Tai Situ Rinpoche. His wish is to make the enormous potential of the broad-based Tara Rokpa development path, with its compassion-based, potential-orientated and integrative approach to healing and development, accessible to many people, in the Tara Rokpa group context as well as in a therapeutic individual setting.
